Ava Stevenson Studio

Ava Stevenson is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a degree in vocal performance. Her passion for singing began early, performing in choirs since age 10 and professionally since 15. She has competed in voice competitions such as NATS, Bland Competition, CS Music, and Schmidt Vocal Competition.

Ava is currently contracted with The Virginia Opera Adult Chorus and The Virginia Chorale, and regularly auditions for professional theater productions. While she has spent much of her time performing on stage, she has discovered a passion for teaching, offering private instruction for over three years and creating a welcoming, supportive environment where students of all ages can build confidence and find their authentic voice.

Ava works with students of all ages and experience levels, focusing on healthy vocal technique, confidence-building, and individualized instruction tailored to each student’s goals. She works with a variety of styles, including musical theatre, classical, and contemporary voice, helping each student grow as a confident and expressive performer. Outside of teaching, Ava enjoys performing in local retirement communities alongside her father, playing volleyball, making plushies for her small crochet business, and traveling.
