Amanda Mohr

Amanda Thomas is a passionate musician and dedicated educator, inspiring students and audiences alike through both performance and teaching. A graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia, she earned degrees in Music Education and Performance under the mentorship of David Rose.

Amanda teaches violin, viola, cello, and piano at all levels and is known for her patience, creativity, and ability to help students reach their full potential. Her students have been accepted into top music conservatories, won concerto competitions, and performed at prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.

An accomplished performer, Amanda has played with orchestras across New York, serving as Concertmaster and Music Director of the New Inlet Chamber Orchestra and Concertmaster of The Jazz Loft Studio Orchestra. She has also appeared as a soloist in multiple Off-Broadway productions, including Phantom and On The Town.
